The following would be covered in the 3-hour First Aid Annual Refresher course. - Primary survey - Adult resuscitation (CPR) incl. defibrillators - Communication and casualty care - Choking - Seizures - Severe bleeding - Shock - Stroke - Heart Attack - Unresponsive adult This course is for people holding a current First Aid at Work, Emergency First Aid at Work. It does not renew these certificates. This course improves skills and ensures compliance with the Health and Safety Executive (HSE). The HSE strongly recommends that first aiders attend a refresher session once every year during this three-year period. Please note that this session focuses on adult first aid.
