FOOD HYGIENE AWARENESS (HALF DAY)
Aims: to ensure that the learner has the knowledge and understanding to be able to prevent food poisoning from occurring.
Objectives:

Explain how good food hygiene contributes to food safety

Demonstrate and understanding of how micro-organisms cause illness through contamination

Recognise the importance of personal hygiene and good hygiene practices

Show knowledge of current legal obligations and the consequence of non-compliance
