Fact of the day 'insulin' (#1)

Storage of insulin before opening: Ideally, insulin is stored in the fridge at 2 - 6 degrees Celsius this is 36 to 43 degrees Fahrenheit. If it is stored at room temperature, it will lose its effectiveness after 28 days; if the insulin is kept at room temperature it must not go over 25 degrees Celsius (77 degrees Fahrenheit). cool bags can be used in the summer and is good practice for those who travel a lot.
